1. Information We Collect

Putly stores the information you enter in the app, including saved item photos, item keywords, searchable keyword text, creation dates, update dates, language preference, and backup activity. Putly does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, full photo library, or payment card details.

2. Photo Access

Putly lets you take a photo or choose a photo from your photo library so the photo can act as a memory cue for where an item was placed. Putly stores a copy of the photo you add. If you use limited photo access, Putly can only access the photos you choose to make available.

3. How We Use Information

Your information is used to provide Putly's core features, including saving item memory cues, searching by keywords, showing item details, editing keywords, deleting saved items and their photos, changing app language, and creating or restoring manual backups when you choose to use backup features.

4. Data Storage

Your Putly item data is stored locally on your device using Apple's local storage technologies. Saved photos are stored as local image files in the app's documents area. Putly does not operate its own server for your item photos, keywords, or backup files.

5. Manual Backups

If you choose to create a manual backup, Putly packages your saved item metadata and referenced photos into a Putly backup file. Backup files are stored only in the location you choose, such as iCloud Drive or another file provider available on your device.

6. App Purchase

Putly is available as an App Store app purchase and does not use recurring billing. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. Putly does not have direct access to your payment card details.

7. Third-Party Services

Putly may use Apple services, including the App Store, photo picker, camera, local storage, and iCloud Drive or other document providers you choose for manual backups. Putly does not use third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, third-party purchase management services, account services, cloud sync services, or AI tagging services, and does not sell your personal data.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your saved Putly item photos or keywords with third parties except as needed to provide services you choose to use, such as storing a manual backup through iCloud Drive or another selected file provider. Purchase-related information may be processed by Apple for App Store purchase management and refund requests.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored locally remains on your device until you delete items in the app, use the app's delete-all data feature, or delete the app from your device. Backup files remain in the location you selected until you delete them. App Store purchase records are managed by Apple according to Apple's policies.
