1. Information We Collect
MindTrade stores the information you enter in the app, including trade records, ticker symbols, asset types, trade direction and outcome, emotion scores, confidence levels, notes, bias tags, hold-reason tags, and monthly report data. MindTrade does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos, or payment card details.
2. How We Use Information
Your information is used to provide MindTrade's core features, including trade journaling, psychology tracking, bias analysis, insight generation, monthly reports, and data backup or restore when you choose to use backup features. MindTrade does not send your trading journal content to advertising providers or use it to personalize advertising.
3. Data Storage
Your trading journal data is stored locally on your device using Apple's local storage technologies. MindTrade does not operate its own server for your trading journal content. If you use iCloud Backup, backup files are stored in your personal iCloud account through Apple's iCloud service.
4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
MindTrade may offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscription status may be managed through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service. MindTrade does not have direct access to your payment card details.
5. Third-Party Services
MindTrade uses Apple services, including the App Store, StoreKit, local storage, and iCloud. MindTrade may also use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and purchase restoration. MindTrade uses Google AdMob to display advertising and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising privacy choices where required. MindTrade does not sell your trading journal content. Apple, RevenueCat, and Google handle information through their services according to their respective policies.
6. Advertising Data and Privacy Choices
When MindTrade requests or displays an ad, Google AdMob may process information such as your IP address, which can be used to estimate a coarse location; device, app, or advertising identifiers when available and permitted; app and device information; ad impressions and interactions; and crash, diagnostic, or performance data. Google may use this information to deliver ads, limit how often an ad is shown, prevent fraud and abuse, measure advertising performance, and provide advertising and analytics services. MindTrade does not request access to your precise location for advertising.
Depending on your region, MindTrade may present a Google UMP form so you can make advertising privacy choices. When Google requires an ongoing privacy-options entry point, you can reopen that form from MindTrade's settings. Personalized, non-personalized, and limited ads can involve different uses of data; even non-personalized or limited ads may use technical information such as an IP address for ad delivery, security, fraud prevention, frequency capping, or aggregated reporting.
For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information for advertising.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your trading journal content with advertising providers. The current version stores this content on your device and does not transmit it to Woorlds or Google AdMob. If you choose to use iCloud Backup, backup files are processed by Apple through iCloud. Subscription-related information may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat for purchase management, entitlement checks, and restore purchases. Advertising-related information may be processed by Google and its advertising partners as described above and according to your available privacy choices.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it in the app or delete the app from your device. iCloud backup files remain in your iCloud account until you delete them or manage them through iCloud. Subscription records are managed by Apple and RevenueCat according to their respective policies.
9. Children's Privacy
MindTrade does not provide an account and does not knowingly collect children's names, contact details, or trading journal content through a developer-operated server. Trading journal content entered in the app remains subject to the local processing and storage practices described in this policy. Advertising services may process the limited advertising-related information described above. Where applicable, advertising requests and privacy choices must be configured consistently with age-related legal requirements and Google's policies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when MindTrade's features or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised update date.
