1. Information We Collect

Boxday handles the information you enter in the app, including time box titles, start times, durations, completion status, recurrence settings, and notification preferences. Boxday does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos, or payment card details.

2. How We Use Information

Your information is used to provide Boxday's core features, including scheduling time boxes, showing your daily plan, sending local reminders, tracking completion, and restoring your data from backups when you choose to use backup features. Boxday does not send your time box content to advertising providers or use it to personalize advertising.

3. Data Storage

Your time box data is stored locally on your device using Apple's local storage technologies. Boxday does not operate its own server for your time box content. If you use iCloud Backup, backup files are stored in your personal iCloud account through Apple's iCloud Drive service.

4. Notifications

Boxday uses standard local notifications to remind you about time boxes. These notifications are scheduled on your device. Boxday does not use push notifications or Critical Alerts.

5. Third-Party Services

Boxday uses Apple platform services needed for app functionality, including the App Store, local notifications, local storage, and iCloud Drive. Boxday also uses Google AdMob to display advertising and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising privacy choices where required. Boxday does not sell your time box content. Apple and Google handle information through their services according to their respective policies.

6. Advertising Data and Privacy Choices

When Boxday requests or displays an ad, Google AdMob may process information such as your IP address, which can be used to estimate a coarse location; device, app, or advertising identifiers when available and permitted; app and device information; ad impressions and interactions; and crash, diagnostic, or performance data. Google may use this information to deliver ads, limit how often an ad is shown, prevent fraud and abuse, measure advertising performance, and provide advertising and analytics services. Boxday does not request access to your precise location for advertising.

Depending on your region, Boxday may present a Google UMP form so you can make advertising privacy choices. When Google requires an ongoing privacy-options entry point, you can reopen that form from Boxday's settings. Personalized, non-personalized, and limited ads can involve different uses of data; even non-personalized or limited ads may use technical information such as an IP address for ad delivery, security, fraud prevention, frequency capping, or aggregated reporting.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your time box content with advertising providers. The current version stores this content on your device and does not transmit it to Woorlds or Google AdMob. If you choose to use iCloud Backup, backup files are processed by Apple through iCloud Drive. Advertising-related information may be processed by Google and its advertising partners as described above and according to your available privacy choices.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it in the app or delete the app from your device. iCloud backup files remain in your iCloud account until you delete them or manage them through iCloud.

9. Children's Privacy

Boxday does not provide an account and does not knowingly collect children's names, contact details, or time box content through a developer-operated server. Time box content entered in the app remains subject to the local processing and storage practices described in this policy. Advertising services may process the limited advertising-related information described above. Where applicable, advertising requests and privacy choices must be configured consistently with age-related legal requirements and Google's policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when Boxday's features or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised update date.
